As a wedding celebrant and Marriage Officer with Celebrants Scotland I am authorised to solemnise your marriage on your wedding day.
What does that mean? I can legally marry you anywhere in Scotland. Amazing! So, if you’re planning a modern wedding in a gorgeous venue, historic castle or an intimate micro wedding or elopement…I’m in!
I’ll help you create a wedding that reflects you, your style and your personality. I’m all about offering choice to couples so your wedding ceremony feels right for you. I’ll take time to get to know you both and together we’ll create a ceremony which is full of love, warmth and laughter. And probably a few tears.
I love to marry couples in my home city of Edinburgh but am equally happy to travel all over Scotland. I can’t wait to hear all about your wedding plans. If you’d like to chat more, contact me to arrange a quick call.
Mr & Mrs McGuire
Micro weddings are perfect for couples looking to get married in a smaller intimate ceremony, but who would still like to include their closest family and friends.
A micro wedding is just like a wedding, but smaller! It usually involves the couple, a wedding celebrant (hello!) and about 25 guests or less.
Perfect for couples who want to get married with just their closest family and absolute besties. Or for those who don’t enjoying being centre of attention. Micro weddings are often more relaxed and less stressful than larger weddings and are kinder on your budget too.
The ceremony structure can be similar to a larger wedding, but it can feel more personal and intimate.
Edinburgh and the surrounding areas have a host of amazing intimate, independent wedding venues and outdoor locations for your smaller wedding.
Mr & Mrs McKinnon, Wedding at Balbirnie House
Scotland is the perfect location for your elopement wedding. With historic city centres, gorgeous wedding venues and beautifully rugged landscapes, the hardest thing is choosing where to get married!
An elopement will usually involve the gorgeous couple, a wedding celebrant (me!), 2 witnesses and perhaps a photographer.
It’s a really intimate way to get married, with all the love of a larger ceremony, but a lot less stress, expense and planning. An elopement ceremony allows you to just focus on your partner, your love and the commitment you are making to each other.
Elopement ceremonies are often held in beautiful outdoor locations or historic city centres.
